Welcome to Helix Auto

Helix Auto Care is located at 4654 Avocado Boulevard La Mesa, CA 91941 at the corner of Fuerte and Avocado Blvd and has been serving La Mesa, El Cajon, Spring Valley, and the rest of East San Diego county since the early 1950's. Greg and Sheri Kelly have owned it since 2007. Auto repair and maintenance is what we do, and we do it well. We specialize in great customer service, integrity and honesty. We can maintain as well as repair your vehicle when it is broken. We do most repairs on most cars and light trucks. Maintenance is integral in our plan to keep your car going as long as possible.

Helix is entering a time of a "major makeover." A new paint color scheme and new signs are in the plan. Soon, there will be a name change to "Greg's Automotive Helix." The painting will not affect our ability to do outstanding maintenance and auto repair.

At Helix Auto Care, we have Bob, a Journeyman Certified Master Technician that has worked in many different shops and dealerships. Bob is a great diagnostician and brings extensive Land Rover experience to the shop. Our staff in the lube room is Paul and Henry. Both are accomplished mechanics. Sheri Kelly, Greg's wife of many years rounds out the staff at Helix.

At Helix Auto Care we want to do the job correctly the first time, so we won't have to redo the job at our expense and your inconvenience. We only use the best quality parts and keep our techs up to date with training to assure the correct repair competently done every time. Helix Auto Care firmly believes that our methods assure you of getting the most bang for your automotive repair dollars as possible. Cutting corners usually costs more money in the long run. This becomes ever more important as cars and trucks are getting better and lasting longer, sometime as much as 250,000 to 300,000 miles on a regular basis.
